Ever see a cat suddenly go off on another cat he’s been best friends with since before they were born? I figure cat one dreamed that cat two did something horrible to him, and he’s getting even for something he doesn’t realize didn’t actually happen.
Now Opal is declaring that Earl isn’t allowed to have arguments in his head that involve her. Would someone please contact the spouse abuse hotline on Earl’s behalf?
According to Brian Crane: 1) He has no plans to end the Pickles strip in 2021 for now, 2) The reason for the few days a week reruns is “just having to slow down a bit due to old age”.
On occasion, the wife would wake up mad at me. Apparently, I had misbehaved in one of her dreams. Sometimes it would take her several hours to get over it.
I have to admit I rarely argue with me myself. Me, myself, and I all get along pretty well. Except for the last piece of cake, of course. That can make things pretty tense.
Having been married to the same wonderful woman for most of my life. There are so many “conversations” I can have in my head. Have the argument in your head, let her win and then go about your day.

Opal doesn’t need to have arguments in her head. That’d be like listening to music in headphones and from speakers at the same time.

It’s a battle of wits but Earl came unarmed!

It would be pretty pathetic if you can’t even win arguments inside your own head.

I do that too. I usually win too.

When the pandemic quarantines finally end, there will be many people who will think that they are much better debaters than they really are.

That’s because in your head, you can get a word in edgewise, Earl!

Been there done that. Most of the time I’ve won the argument. Then, when it comes out in real life I somehow DON’T win the argument.

That’s to compensate for the ones that Earl never wins in real life.

Winning 1 out of 5 is pretty good. At least baseball thinks so for a batting average.

I lose and my wife wins, every time. So depressing.

Make Opal blush if she was a witness to all of Earls thoughts.

Isn’t it amazing how Opal is allowed such behavior (she’s been mad at Earl more than once over HER dreams) and Earl is not?

Years ago, I remember someone saying…it’s okay if you talk to yourself, as long as you don’t interrupt.
