I guess I missed the window of the cheapest gas. It had been at 99 cents for about one week, but I did not need any gas (my tank was about 1/4 full). Now the price has gone up to $1.49 and the tank is still half full. By the time I need gas, it will probably be back up around $2. This would be more apropos if this were the Born Loser strip.
I kinda know what you mean, but, sorry, Zig, you got this one wrong. As others noted, you can drive around to your heart’s content. Just limited on the places you can go in to. I’ve noticed a lot more traffic in my neighborhood, people just driving by.
Gas ticked up from $.98 to $1.35 since they opened up more non-essential businesses, state parks, etc. I imagine it will go back up to $2+ when they really open things back up.

That’s correct Ziggy, without demand there is an oversupply and consequently prices fall.

You can go to the grocery store, home improvement store, dollar store, restaurants with drive-thru’s or curbside service…

They’re certainly not passing the savings on here in New York State.

Still not as cheap as when I was a gas jockey in the late 60’s early 70’s. Would you believe, regular was only 16.9 cents a gallon? It was.
