Know what’s stupid? Telling other people the way they dress/look is stupid. Frankly, you want dreads, knock yourself out. Want skinny jeans or baggy jeans? None of anyone else’s business.
Dreads are impossible to keep clean; try washing a pile of dirty rope and see how clean you can get it. A girlfriend’s son had dreads for a couple of years. When he cut them off, there was a pile of dead skin on his head about a 1/4" thick.
