Jack: I want to go to camp this summer. Gary: When I was your age, I hated going to camp. It was so hard to say goodbye to my Mom and Dad. Jack: I want to go to two soccer camps, a tennis camp and a skateboard camp. Gary: It's going to be so hard to say goodbye to my money.

Back in my day (yes, I’m older), we didn’t know what summer camp was. We moved around so much, that we got to see a lot of different parts of the country! So I think we benefitted in different ways.

Back in my day, my folks sent me to sleep away camp. I won a seven year attendance award.

Some kids aren’t old enough for how young we send them off to camp, but many parents look at it as a way for them to get a “vacation” too!
