I had an OB that had posters on the ceiling!

Me too. Still tensed up anyway.

This one goes WAY back- Lynn used it for her “We’re Pregnant” book that got her career started years before this.

Lynn’s Comments: This observation about the ceiling is directly related to the origin of this comic strip. Since patients spend a lot of time looking at an examining room ceiling, I asked my obstetrician to put something interesting on his. He said, “You’re the cartoonist. I challenge you to draw something for me to put up there!”

And do all of the ceiling tiles have 1,387 holes like that one?

I was having a scan and pointed out the spider web in the corner of the ceiling to the nurse.

When I go to a doctor’s office, I always ask if anyone has died of beige poisoning.

I have asked my dentist to have a TV on the ceiling for years. Still no TV. …sigh

Giant stains on the ceiling always have an interesting story.

A former dentist put up pictures of his land and house in the country with some cute, stupid, name and had some caption like ‘this is what you get if you work hard’. He wasn’t pleased when he found out I had more acreage than he did. He was a pompous jerk.

In junior high school I had to learn wrestling in gym class. There was a message on the ceiling which read “If you can read this you are in serious trouble”.

All that wait time for a one-minute observation.

“Well, well, there you are!” It’s bad when the doctor has been looking for you and can’t find you.

She’s got time on her hands.

I’m a doctor, not a painter!

When my wife was pregnant with our second one, she went in for a check up. They put her in an examination room and then forgot about her. I think she was in there a couple of hours before they happened to look in and see her.
