I guess the US Media is known, by now, for spewing whatever BS anybody feeds them. The JOB of the press, folks, is to tell us what’s NEW. That’s why they call it ‘news’. Not what’s more lies from the usual liars.

The job of the press is to report what is being said and done by our leaders. If our leaders happen to be liars spewing the usual lies — or in the current situation, outrageous and traitorous lies — then it’s the press’s job to report them.

    We the People govern ourselves.

Under what circumstances — save legitimate Congressional declared war planning — should presidential conversations with foreigners be kept secret from our citizens?

Transparency is vital to our democratic republic. No more secrets, not if it were ever so.

Much of the so-called “mainstream media” tries hard to report honestly, saving their opinions, and counter-argument opinions for the op-ed pages. Fox, for example, often presents opinion as “news.” That’s why they refer to themselves as “entertainment” and not journalism. There are a few journalists on staff at Fox, but very few. Most are propagandists.

The New York Times, Washington Post, and the Wall St Journal are examples of real journalism. Other fact-based outlets include NPR, the BBC, the Atlantic, The New Yorker, Scientific American, and Wired. If you like facts, you read these publications. They run corrections when they mis-state the facts, they censure their journalists if those journalists lie, and they strive to edit their publications accurately.

Hannity, Carlson, Limbaugh, Breitbart, the Daily Stormer, and Fox and Friends are examples of propagandists. Truth is not a factor. Belief is everything. Opinion is presented as fact, and facts are ignored or twisted into lies.

All humans have primitive minds that consider their beliefs sacred. They also have a higher mind that seeks truth. Those whose higher-mind function have been stunted, most often react primitively to stimuli. Primitive behavior is selfish, greedy, grasping, fearful, anxious, reactive, paranoid, and sometimes violent. These are trump’s signature emotions. These are also the emotions he has provoked among his cult followers.

Psychopathic malignant narcissism in full bloom is the perfect example of the primitive mind run amok. The media outlets that cater to this psychopathy are guilty of spreading lies and misinformation targeted to primitive minds.

No. The way this usually goes is: Boris tells Biden, Biden tells Zelensky, then Zelensky tells Putin, then Putin tells Kim, then, and only then, Kim sends Trump a love note, in which Boris’s original message. And I’ll bet you thought the Swamp was drained.
