Sunrise is about an hour away, so I can only see a bunch of snow on the deck. It’s supposed to get up to 43 today. Not as chilly as it was yesterday.
I’ve got a lot of food to prepare for the freezer, and I’ll put together a big pot of Vegetable Beef & Barley soup. Dinner’s around 6:30, so y’all come. Hungry!

I am finally going to get to meet my great-granddaughter today. Kelly and the girls arrived last night and will come by here to spend the day. She’ll then go visit Mike on Sunday and drive home Sunday afternoon – she lives in Riverside, CA. I did find out from Mike that Kandice (my granddaughter) is bipolar, and apparently using that as an excuse for not getting a job or being a responsible adult. We’ll see how that goes. (No, I don’t plan to bring it up.) We will all be going out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary which is on Monday. (36 years)
It is 52 outside with an expected high of 69. Lovin’ it, although Michael isn’t.
It is a bright, sunny day with a temperature of 48. Sure beats that cold dip we had earlier in the week. I was away from home all day yesterday. I went shopping with a friend yesterday and we spent 9 hours having a fun time browsing the stores. We always start with DAV, Goodwill and Salvation Army stores and save regular retail for last if we shop them at all. Today is my “recovery” day from all that fun. Really have nothing else going on until we leave for church in the morning.

Good morning Vagabonds.Right now there is nothing going on with the temp at 46 and no rain or wind.
Temp is expected to be in the 50’s and sunny.
Nothing to do except go get the paper to read with my coffee until we go to church at 4 pm.
