Good morning Vagabonds. It’s raining right now but who knows for how long. Temp in low 50’s right now but will get up to mid 50’s later on.

Look’s like rain will be off and on for most of the day.

Will do some shopping in the morning and then will go to the parish center to pick up communion and bring it to the store where I can pick up the paper to bring home and read it with my coffee.

May you all have a peaceful day

    It’s Cabbage night Vagabonds

I’m not sure why it’s called Cabbage night around here, the night before Halloween has many names.

Today’s forecast is overcast and they say a high of 63. Tomorrow, Kayak required particularly tomorrow night about trick or treat time. Of course.

I’ll hang loose today, later on I’ve got some work to do down in the cellar to prepare for weatherization of the downstairs, then the walls are next.

Well, my day lays ahead of me. May you all have a great day.

    Good Frigid morning, Vagabonds,

It’s 3 degrees right now! Hopefully this will be over soon. The calendar says it’s Autumn, not Winter! The snow hasn’t melted in days.

Jan, I wish Mike the best of luck with his job interviews. It’s really hard to know what the bosses are looking for. I wish him well.

    xoxo. Happy Trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

At prayer yesterday morning, three of the women said they are done with winter and ready to go back to summer. And it’s only October!

We moved the furniture yesterday, and I think it will work out well. We’re in the bright, sunny, warm room with the computers, and I’ll be done with that part by the time it gets hot in here. Michael, on the other hand, revels in the heat (I think he’s done with winter, too).

We went to a new (to us) sandwich place yesterday called Capriotti’s. Mike had recommended it because of a sandwich they called the Bobbie with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce and Michael loves turkey. Never again. The bread roll was chewy but so dry it sucked all the juices out of your mouth. The tomatoes were sliced so thin you could see through them and there was so much black pepper on the sandwich that’s all you could taste, even after I wiped most of it off with a napkin. In addition, they serve an off brand of chips (Wise Chips) that were awful. We won’t go back, that’s for sure, especially since there’s a Subway and a Port of Subs much closer.

Not much happening today or tomorrow besides laundry, so it will be a nice, quiet day around here.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
