Did something in Red change? During the summer he couldn’t stand the “twins”. But now he notices that girls are looking at him. And I am a bit surprised that Rover isn’t a bit jealous!

Either Red is very cold or those girls are very warm.
As the owner of a “cute” dog; I can guarantee you that the girls are only looking at your dog!

people normally greet the dog with a more cheerier hello than the dogwalker themselves; it’s just like when people see babies, same reaction.
