    My 5 year old nephew was stomping to his room and slamming the door. Also when he was sent there he would lay on his bed and scream and throw things at the door. His dad took the door off its hinges and put it in the garage for 2 weeks. That fixed him.

    For the son, tell him to do what you ask or pack his close and leave. The daughter will come out when she gets hungry enough and then you can talk to her.

    Should be, “a little bit of both”. also, no child should be given the right to refuse to do anything that is not lawful child abuse. Remove the doors from the rooms and take the audio/video equipment which definitely includes their phones.
