Considering the likely Republican opposition, I don’t find his flubs worth getting hyper about. He’s basically a decent guy. Just look at that sicko they’re running.
Isn’t there something wrong with a system that discourages our best and brightest and forces us to choose the least harmful wannabe only to the have that result overridden based on a law from the slave-owner era and using the 1910 census figures to determine our representation in the Electoral College? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reapportionment_Act_of_1929
No matter what, Biden and every other Democrat running is preferable to that racist, bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic and transphobic moron infesting the WH.
He’s not my first choice, but what he said is perfectly legitimate. His point is mentioning two racists was that they were people he had nothing in common with, but he worked with them to get something he wanted anyway.
That racist is a Senator, he has power, and I can’t remove him from the Senate. He gets a vote. So if I can get him to vote for Universal Health Care, I’ll take that vote. Since the alternative is that he votes AGAINST Universal Health Care.
We don’t live in a perfect world, and sometimes we have to deal with things as they actually are instead of how we want them to be.
Biden’s naivete is as startling as some of his antiquated positions. He “can work with anyone”? Dude saw up close that Obama’s attempt at this failed. Newt Gingrich’s mentality rules in the Great Obstructionist Party, and if Biden doesn’t know this, he’s had blinders on for the past 20 years. Come into the 2010s Joe we need you
One problem Germany had when the Nazis got in is that the rest of them refused to coalition with the uniformed thugs. Which played into Hitler’s hands, even though his people would have obstructed anything they did not want. They were purists so no deals its either 100% or 0%. Later it was the cemetery.
I sincerely hope that liberals spend their blog/social media/brain power promoting all the Democrats they like and STFUpping about the ones they like less: Lets not sling mud on someone who could end up being a candidate, running mate, or senator from an important state… The right wingnuts will do plenty of that without any assistance at all.
I like Warren because she’s female and she’s got it together about what it costs and how to get there from here. And because she’s done her stint with foot-in-mouth disease about her amerindian “heritage” and doesn’t seem to be making other mistakes, unlike one or two of the other candidates.

I think at more than 500 days out Biden’s most likely future running mate is going to be (thankfully) a suspended campaign

So apparently over 11,000 DOCUMENTED LIES are fine, just as long as a Republican tells them…

I want to see Trump call her Pochahontas in a debate, so she can respond by calling him “Sitting Bull****”.

Let me get this straight, Joe’s blather bothers you more than DJT’s billingsgate and pervrication? You have strange priorities.

Liking someone because “she is female” is discriminatory.

If you wonder who the Reich is afraid of, watch who they attack. Everybody, you say? Well, I’ll be damned.
