remove battery from smart phone, remove power cords from PC and tablets, use parental control lock outs for bedroom TV, and collect all footwear to be locked in a trunk until punishment it over. You won’t need shoes if you are not allowed to leave the house.

A lousy report card once got me grounded, with no friends or TV*, for 6 weeks – the idea being I’d have to study.
I got really good at Solitaire.
