You can be part of the world or, like North Korea, try to isolate yourself from it and try to convince your people that it was necessary.

On a positive note, humanity survives another 3,000 years.

What I find odd is that English is still a viable language after three thousand years.

Excellent, Mr. Toles. Excellent. And you did it without invoking the speaker of the House of Commons.

Stonehenge is excellent for this ’toon. The great stone faces on Easter Island could represent all of the opposing factions.

This seems like a strange day for DDWiz to maintain radio silence…then again, I can’t seem to locate any of their older posts either. Anyone know what became of them??? Were they banned, or did they simply pull up stakes and skedaddle in disgust, erasing all their tracks for good measure?

English of today is all but unrecognizable from its earlier incarnations. And Stone Henge seems to be aligned with certain times of the month and year.

There’s actually a simple solution, actually two solutions. The problem is the Irish land border. So, solution 1 is to give Northern Ireland to Ireland. Solution 2 is for Britain to invade Ireland and make it part of Great Britain once again. Either way, that pesky land border is gone.

Currently the Euro is worth $0.88 compared to the dollar (Google euro to dollar). About ten years ago one Euro was worth $1.50-$1.60 (depending on the site one visits) compared to the dollar. The EU cannot afford for the UK to leave the EU as it would further sink its currency. This is why there’s a big push from corporate interest to get the Brits to revote on staying in the EU. Last I checked voting over and over until one gets a desired outcome does not make it a Democracy. The people have spoken. Get on with it. Let Germany and France deal with the P.I.G.S. and all the Goldman Sach’s schemes that made bankers rich and bankrupted nations
