Today's cell phones take pictures tweet, text and surf the internet. That wasn't always the case, oh no. Once upon a time cell phones were only used to make and receive phone calls!! They were made out of cast iron and fueled by coal!! The emergency room was filled with people who had burned their ears calling friends! Next time: Phones with that dial thingy!

First “cell phone” I had was work issued. It was one of those “bag phone” thingies.
It took up all the space between the 2 front seats of the car.
That was actually good, because the year before they got the phones, we were still driving company cars with vinyl bench seats.
