A wall just nailed together? That does sound like what billions would get us from Bonespurs, while he pockets the kickback from the contractor. Gee, almost like turning a Post Office building into a Trump Trap.
If we had politicians that, once elected, honored the words in their oath of office, and worked together for We the People, instead of opposing/obstructing each other like unruly children, we would have laws that de-profitized, de-incentivized and decriminalized addictive drugs and made our society safer and healthier and making illegal drug dealing impossible. Do our politicians in some ways. benefit from preserving the status quo?
If you haven’t heard, right-wing wraith Ann Coulter is super angry emoji, frowny face, unicorn-puking at Donald Trump. All she wanted was a wall! That’s all she asked for. The forever irrelevant Coulter has been working her hate-filled magic by trolling the man she once said was possibly a better orator than Winston Churchill.
In the inevitable legal challenges, I’m wondering how Mr. Trump is going to justify his national emergency to the courts after saying on camera to the press during the announcement of his declaration of a national emergency, “I didn’t need to do this.” If he “didn’t need to do this,” then why do it? “I wasn’t happy” with the bill he signed to keep the government open. Of course, I am again taking what he says at face value (literally), and I get scolded about that. But there it is.
The ironic part is that the wall would have done nothing to El Chapo’s drug smuggling operations. He used tunnels, boats, planes, trains and trucks that went through border checkpoints.
What is it that makes conservative propagandists so enamored of fantasy solutions? Are they really that gullible or are they just cynically aware of how simplistic their intended audience is?
That sentence might make it through the courts, Henry.
While it would be “unusual” punishment, it wouldn’t also be “cruel”, since the wall itself would do nothing to stop his organization from continuing to deliver drugs into the US.

No wall. Nobody pays for it. Nobody builds it.

Another fantasy by Henry.
But more likely than Mexico paying for it.

But wait, if they make a ladder that will get El Chapo that close to the top of the wall …
