Elementary/Middle was 1 mile, High school was about 2. Downtown and movies were 2 and a half. Library 3. Fishing spots/beach was 4. I walked or road my bike. Unless the weather was real nasty.
Drive you? have you seen the line of helicopter parents? Bus? Are you outside the the walk-zone? Cab? You pay? Anywhere is within your walking zone if you have the time.
