Of course, sadly, school children today are terrified of going to school and having their precious little bodies riddled with bullets beyond recognition so the NRA domestic terrorist organization can increase their gun manufacturer profits.

More kids have been sacrificed on the blood-stained altar of NRA and gun manufacturer profits than the number of brave military heroes who have been sacrificed on the blood-stained altar of corporate profits for the “defense contractors” of the “military-industrial complex” that [Republican] Eisenhower warned us about.

    The gun debate is over.

It ended after Sandy Hook, when people who mostly call themselves “pro-life” decided that profits for gun manufacturers are more important than the lives and bloodied bodies of FIRST GRADERS.

The vast majority of Americans, including gun owners, including members of the NRA, want sensible gun legislation enacted.

An elementary school gave the graduating class bullet resistant panels for their backpacks. But Gun Nuts don’t despair, your AR-15s can still go thru them and take them out!!!

These kids won’t be old enough to vote for years, so, let’s continue to make profit until then. Considering how traditionally unresponsive congress is to the voters, it may never be a problem.

One can only hope that he’ll come home unaccompanied by all those “thoughts and prayers.”

The date regarding school shootings is not as clear as the “main stream media” and gun “control” advocates would have you believe. But facts never stopped anyone from getting their agenda out.

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2018/02/19/parkland-school-shootings-not-new-normal-despite-statistics-stretching-truth-fox-column/349380002/

And before someone accuses me of being “OK” with this and accepting it as “collateral damage” to my belief in the second amendment, you are wrong.

Now, let us not forget significant societal changes in our nation. They do play a role and just saying that you’ll take all the guns is not going to change that. Our increased drug usage, medicating everything, explosion of children growing up without fathers actively in their lives (across all races), decline in marital rates (which affects poverty), and several other reasons. This is not a one item cure. Though that seems to be the mantra of the left. Ban guns and all those problems go away. They don’t and they won’t.

I have a close personal friend that works in a busy trauma center in Massachusetts which has quite restrictive firearms laws that are pointed to as models for gun control. The number of stabbings has, for years and years, drastically outnumbered deaths and injuries from firearms.
