As printed in this comic strip, you cannot play “PIZZAZZ” in Scrabble, because there is only one “Z” in the game, plus two additional Z’s which could be created by using the two blank tiles, giving you a possible total of only three Z’s. You could, however, play “PIZAZZ”, which has a base score of 15 points, not counting any bonus squares or any additional words that result from playing it next to a word that’s on the game board.
