Our president seems to have been elected due to the trend of electing the power seekers however incompetent they might be. Why after over 200 years can’t our democratic republic have a government that actually represents all the people. Don’t the parties have an obligation to “we the people” any longer? Why do we allow a self-sustaining political system, that ignores the people, with criminals running for office and winning elections?
