The streams from the shower head warm the air in the shower as they pass. Cool air comes into the shower stall, displacing the warm air rising. The curtain gets sucked into the shower stall by the lowered pressure. Curtain suckage can be prevented by leaving a six inch gap in the curtain, or by taking a cold shower.

The temp of the water has nothing to do with it a cold water shower gets the same result. Scintific American 20 years ago had a study. It the entraind air with the water droplets that causes to presure drop that pulls the curtain in.
