The party of NO, NEVER and NOT NOW has returned to the Hill. Their salaries will continue. They want to throw an additional 200,000 government workers into the unemployment pool, through natural attrition. I am sorely afraid for this country…again.

The past administration is the one who ran up the fed employment numbers and “contracted” tens of thousands more to do government work at higher salaries.

the Obama-ites tried to claim that creating an excessive number of non-wealth-producing GOVERNMENT jobs paid for out of the bankrupt public treasury, was boosting the US Economy! NOT. the Government sector has grown and crowded out the genuine wealth-producing Private sector job creation ability!

those government jobs were set up by Democrats on much higher pay scales than private jobs’ salaries, and then they Perked the federal and state jobs with benefits and some cops and teachers in Illinois “retire” to collect $Millions by longer-life-expectancy! (that’s the #1 reason Illinois is top Bankrupt state government, after New York and California).

When more than 50% of the national work force is paid by the remaining % working and paying taxes in the private sector….the country is doomed.

If government workers are so highly qualified and “better” than non-government workers, why can’t they create SELF-EMPLOYMENT jobs for themselves???????

(possibly because the Liberal Progressive Dumb-Down education system has so MAL-educated the Masses?)

I always get a giggle out of how Toles draws Obama in these situations. Admiral Ackbar, you’re needed on Stage 2!!

^ I can pretend to be riled up if it’ll help your narrative.

dt either cites no sources, or cites “Beck speak” or “Rovian”, or JBS locations with pure garbage. Lockheed is getting $760 BILLION for contacting on the F-35 that can’t fly properly, and THAT is where those “government” dollars and jobs are. The greatest increases in “government” jobs were the Reagan, Bush 41 and Bush 43 increases in POLITICAL APPOINTEES, to run newly created agencies, like the 33 agencies added under “Homeland iNsecurity!”

The reduction suggested in lowering the “middle class” tax rate from 26% to 22% is NOT the same thing as lowering the high end from 35% to 23%- 5% reduction of $60 k is NOT the same as 12% reduction of $5 million per year incomes.

One member of the Walton family could well make up the difference in the Cost of Living elimination for all GS employees. While our debt/deficit math problem is indeed mind boggling, the place to start is in “defense” and “entitlement” programs that are subsidies to billion, or trillion dollar corporations to produce what we don’t need, or things that actually damages us- like genetically modified crops, and tobacco. Just eliminating the 1872 Mining Act, and going to hard rock leasing would bring down the deficit significantly, if not totally.(the price of gold is sky-rocketing, and CANADIAN corporations are still mining it , essentially for FREE!, on public lands.

The voters gave the GOP a clear mandate to enrich the rich and screw the vanishing middle class. ‘nuff said.

IRS Taxpayer Stats today with Tax Breaks in effect:

50% Pay 1/2 of the Revenues for Budget 5% Pay 1/2 of the Revenues for Budget

45% Pay No Taxes, so we borrow to get Revenue for Budget

    Conclusion:

    Priority-1…. JOBS Priority-2…. ECONOMY
