Don’t worry, with the rise of xenophobic Nationalism, no one will mistakenly think brown people are welcome in Cheato Mussolini’s Fascist America.

Trump lap dog Ramirez must not know that you have to have been in the U.S. for years already to qualify for DACA.

@"jlocke"… Hmmmm. You do eat vegetables, right?

What I don’t understand about the regressives is how they refuse to deal with reality as it is, not as they wish it to be. Ok hotshot, your turn, in prior posts, I’ve outlined comprehensive legislation for employer enforcement, guest worker visas, and a path to legal residency for the 11 million here illegally. Reality. Facts. Those are the things I like to deal with. Not demonizing immigrants to score nasty political points.

So, what’s your plan? A whining wall made from magical thinking? Mass deportations? Do tell.

The 1% read the comments not the cartoons and have a good laugh as we buy into the division created by the political parties they bought to do their bidding and keep us fully distracted — compromise/cooperation now branded as un-American — while it’s being done. They profit as “the commons” are privatized and they get to sell or rent back to us, what was once ours.

Forgetting the pros and cons, for a moment, I find it a strange cartoon coming from a guy name Ramirez.

The Rule of Law ,something the National Socialist Democrat Workers Party doesn’t care for.Unless they can use it on the political opposition while they ,Hillary, get a free pass.

The Dems seem to want my gang/cartel neighborhood coke dealers to be allowed to come here and move the poison across the border at will. Since they got busted summer before last, the men made bail and disappeared. The women and kids are still here collecting rent subsidies, welfare, food stamps, and Obama phones.

Maybe the left likes these kinds of neighbors and the possibility of drive by shootings and shoot outs across the street from where they live involving folks who shouldn’t be here in the first place. There still is a lot of traffic at all hours of the day and night.

From Wikipedia, the eligibility requirements for DACA:

To qualify for DACA, applicants must meet the following major requirements, although meeting them does not guarantee approval:Came to the United States before their 16th birthdayHave lived continuously in the United States since June 15, 2007Were under age 31 on June 15, 2012 (born on June 16, 1981 or after)Were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making their request for consideration of deferred action with USCISHad no lawful status on June 15, 2012Have completed high school or a GED, have been honorably discharged from the armed forces, or are enrolled in schoolHave not been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanors, or three or more other misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety

So, unless someone entering the US today has a Tardis and can go back in time to June 15, 2007, DACA simply doesn’t apply. Anyone coming here today, or xenophobes, who think that DACA is an automatic welcome mat, are sadly deluded.

Trump is 100% responsible for the death of the bipartisan DACA deal.

    I like Trump’s deal.

Build the wall. Substantially limit chain migration. Eliminate lottery migration.

In return, almost 2 million dreamers get a path to citizenship. Not just legal status. CITIZENSHIP! Their parents get legal status.

Someone please explain why this set of exchanges do not satisfy the Dems. Dems who have been SCREAMING about nothing but the dreamers for 6-7 years now.

You would think with Trump’s storm-troopers breaking up families, the GOP would say something about family values. I guess it isn’t “convenient” for them now so they pretend families are bad now? Like how sleeping with porn stars is good now? They are a mixed up bunch – but when you don’t believe in anything, you fall for everything.

@DAG…. and @DENIS… — Everything you post is “correct” — just as ‘correct’ as #45 winning the popular vote and having the largest crowd ( ever ) at his Inauguration! Also, he never called Mexicans “rapists!” Now, you can start a drive for lawyer M. Cohen’s defense fund….

@JLOCKE… Yes, the parents broke the law.

If I rob a bank and take my two-year-old grandson along, will you send him to jail with me? Of course not.

That’s the point of DACA. While the circumstances make them illegal, many of these kids grew up thinking of themselves as Americans. They went to school, held down jobs, paid taxes, served in the military. Some don’t even speak Spanish. Many don’t remember their home countries. These are not the criminals, rapists and drug dealers that The Donald rants about.

They are illegal THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN.

Simple solution. Those who think it is OK to spend American tax dollars on illegals instead of their own countrymen/women (we have MANY U.S. citizens, of all races, who need help and yet our government is broke), should be able to check a box on their income tax returns and “buck up.” Put your wallets where your beliefs are.
