The depth to which our country has fallen!! Under Bush I considered his Extreme Measures terrorism on par with the Spanish Inquisition. Why do I think Trump is going to try to top the Spanish Inquisition and make things worse????
Gina Haspel has been nominated to fill the position of C.I.A. director, replacing Mike Pompeo, who has been determined by Donnie to be enough of a sycophant that he’s been nominated to replace Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State – so the game of “Musical Chairs” continues at the White House, and the Republicans in the Senate, having ALREADY demonstrated their allegiance to Donnie and Vladimir over and over, will, in all likelihood, ratify the appointments with minimal to NO dissent! Interestingly, I’m old enough to remember back to the days when Congress served the American public, not the American President or a foreign adversary through a domestic terrorist group like the National Rifle Association!
Congress (the Republican part of it, anyway) isn’t even trying to conceal such links, anymore. I guess what I’m saying is that, as a member of the American public, we don’t mind the screwing, but we WOULD appreciate a “kiss”, afterward.
The CIA has been criminal for years. Its one of a few branches that can be taken to court over something they did and claim “classified information” before a judge and be granted a stay. If you or I did that the judge would have us locked away for contempt of the court.
