    No. Hawking would not want to be. If he were, he’d be some sort of supernova and wipe out life in any number of star systems near by. Something similar to this was speculated upon in one of the best stories ever written by AC Clarke, The Star. Read it. Hawking probably had and would be embarrassed by this cartoon.

    I am certain most civilized countries have sent condolences and tributes to the British scientists, its governance and the British people themselves. Hawking is a once in century gift. He joins constellation of. Einstein, Darwin, Newton, Galileo, and Aristotle and, and on and on. At times like these we need a Kennedy or Obama to speak for the American People and send our condolences and write a tribute to a brilliant mind. Hopefully Du-fuss nor Pence will show up for the funeral services. The first one would only talk about himself and the latter would gag trying to praise a godless scientist. Maybe Ivana will attend. At least she has some class and looks smart.
