    Sorry.

    RANT MODE ON:

Wear boots dang it. I cringe every time I see fools wearing sandals on a bike. Or shorts, short sleeves, etc. HELMETS!!!!Sooner or later you ARE going to lay the bike down. It happens to all of us. And those sandals? All it takes is a small piece of road debris and you are going to the ER. Whether or not your toes go with you is an open question. You don’t have to wear leathers. There are all sorts of specialty apparel to satisfy your fashion fancy while still protecting your precious skin.ROAD RASH IS FOREVER!!!!

    RANT MODE OFF:

Nothing to see here. Remain calm. Move along. Sorry Beyer, nothing personal.

I’m with you on that! Funny, but true, story. Eons ago when I was young I dated a motorcycle guy and my younger sister was dating a buddy of his. One night while the four of us were out on the bikes, he laid his bike down. Now he was wearing a jacket, helmet, and boots but was a staunch “commando” kind of guy. Well, I won’t describe in detail what the zipper of his jeans did to a certain body part but suffice to say, he never rode his bike “commando” again. Much to the chagrin of my sister, he was out of commission for awhile (prolonged by her sick sense of humor causing the scabs to break open and start the healing process anew).
