At one point I considered changing my nom de guerre to “The Hatmonster” in honor of Niue and my love of hats. Force of habit and my love for my 79 Malibu wagon won out though.
Considering the wholesale slaughter and extinctions of birds to make hats, seems like a reasonable post-traumatic response.
Some of the dangers of that kind of hybridization. You must have a great and clear knowledge of the DNA and what is and isn’t activated.
Imagine if Niue met Jagermonsters. They love their hats, and they frequently do spell trouble.
