Years ago, my friends and I used to frequent one particular pizza place, and I’d always make it a point to sit where I had a relatively unobstructed view of the lovely young woman who worked there.

In that outfit, Ellie reminds me of ‘Honey,’ from “Space Dandy” …

My dream come true, but I thought Ellie worked marketing cellphones? Did she realize by doing this she’d be answering prayers? XD

So I guess Hubbs is kind of like Ow, scaring away men from Ellie’s presence. It’s kind of cute when Ow does it, despite his predatory snarling, but I doubt Ellie would appriciate Hubbs chasing away her tips.

Well I guess that answers the booth question from before. Also, Hubbsy’s face in the last panel….my god, I just about lost it. I love this strip series so much.

Had a feeling that this would be a Hooters-type place with our lovely Ellie working there. I gotta admit, Chix N’ Wings is a lot more subtle than the name I gave my OC Buddy’s restaurant: BEAVERS!
