Bob always comes around at some point to lower the bar.
The dive bar I hang out at recently redid their bar top by adding an 1½" thick top to the existing bar thus raising the bar.
Long time regulars were still getting use to when they put in new flooring effectively lowering the bar.
Good thing they serve booze.
Give me a BBQ sauce on the rocks.
