Does RBION mean that all species of cactus except one are native to the Americas? I am pretty sure that many species of cactus could be grown in other places besides the Americas.
According to this source cacti are grown around the world and there are four species of cactus that are not native to the Americas.

BTW…. maybe 1000 miles seems like a lot less when you realise it’s round trip….
