Then when it got to size and of course the Texan was bragging about how you can drive from Texas to the left coast and the mid way point was still in Texas (and you still have New Mexico, Arizona, and California to drive through).
The Alaskan just responds with “keep it up and we’ll just cut our state in half and make Texas the third largest state…”
The Super Bowl referee didn’t always get rings. When it was decided to “ring” them, rings were sent to the referees from all the previous games. I know this because a guy in the next town over received one.
Alaska is about the same size as Scandinavia. However Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark have a population of 25 million. Whereas, Alaska has a population of 665,000.

Technically, hibernation requires the critter to be “warm-blooded.” Most, but not all, critters that use estivation are “cold-blooded.”
