I think Valentine’s day was made up just to make single people feel bad.
Before I got married, a lot of times I found myself without a girlfriend at Valentine’s Day. The penultimate one broke up with me just after Christmas. I went a long time after that before I met my wife.
Quite a day trip from Cleveland to Manhattan to be in SoHo (South of Houston).
People should remind each other often how they feel. A bit of a forced holiday can be a good reminder, don’t take each other for granted.
