I wish the Republican party was willing or able to return to being the predictable, boring but cautious, trustworthy, fiscally conservative party instead of the nationalist, libertarian, extremist, fringe, gut feel driven, group, that will sell government assets for one-shot benefit and has no qualms about incurring enormous debt for us and our children.
They’re cute until they chew off your face …. or get rid of all those regulations that protect you, the economy, the environment in order to increase their donors’ offshore bank accounts.
The turtle and mouse that roared monkeys aren’t really clones, another Republican fake news story. But Trump does have them on leashes, and that’s the truth, says Lily “Edith Ann” Tomlin.
Conservative pundit Michael Gerson: “Trump has made profanity an unavoidable part of our political culture. He is in the midst of a gathering corruption scandal that has left close aides under indictment. He tells repeated and obvious lies. He incites ethnic and racial resentment as a political strategy and was caught on tape bragging about sexual assault. Add to this something that could never be said of Nixon: the credible accusation that Trump paid hush money to a porn star to cover up an affair.”
And this, also from the same aforementioned conservative pundit: “The problem, however, runs deeper. Trump’s court evangelicals have become active participants in the moral deregulation of our political life. Never mind whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is of good repute. Some evangelicals are busy erasing bright lines and destroying moral landmarks. In the process, they are associating evangelicalism with bigotry, selfishness and deception. They are playing a grubby political game for the highest of stakes: the reputation of their faith.” -——————————————————————————————————————The secular McConnell and Ryan (technically he worships Ayn Rand) aren’t the only monkeys running around loose!
Beautiful satiric comment!!!!!!! Just goes to show that Trump and his minions have turned our entire government into a farce for the rest of the world to laugh at us for having them as our administrative and Congressional Representatives. There is really only one cure for this problem. We need to vote …..every single person in this country of legal age needs to vote and….vote their conscience. The administration and Congress will do everything in their power to keep people from voting. It is not in their interest for Americans to be heard at the polls. That alone should tell you how much power a voter has when a voter can make such a difference about how we are represented by our government.

CLONES: TWEEDLES DUM and DEE – {rhyme}
The organ-grinder grinds
and malevolent monkeys perform.
This ominous image reminds
that things are beyond the norm: – - -
- – - In our Wonderland of Alice
which forebodingly threatens malice,
a Mad Hatter madly gives static
with words quite nuttily erratic,
and Tweedles Dum and Dee
agree with the Hatter’s decree.

True, they are not the same. Mitch is a craven corporate money grabber. Paul is a dangerous ideology.
