Many dogs can see only in shades of grey. Meanwhile, the last frame cuts into one of the dog’s thought balloons. Probably said the same thing the other dog’s thought balloons said, but it’s still kind of disappointing…

Great comment on our fear to expose our flaws. Sort of like “The Emperor Has No Clothes.” And Barkeeper, just hire a designer, who may also be color-blind. But at least you can say you used “designer colors.”

Dogs aren’t really colorblind. They just have cones that detect blue and yellow, instead of red, green, and blue like humans. They can see farther into ultraviolet than we can. The rods detect luminance (brightness) just as humans do, and that’s why we see a grayscale in dim lighting. (The Moody Blues mention this in “Late Lament” – Cold hearted orb that rules the night, Removes the colours from our sight. Red is grey and yellow white.)

Dogs see blue, but not as sharp and bright as we can. So they may not be able to distinguish subtleties like ’evening shade…"

Ah secrets. Where would we be without them. All of our shame, un-shared and un-spoken. Those little pearl beads of deceit slowly but surely growing in our minds and and weighing on our souls. If only we could admit what we don’t know. Nah. Have drink.

Argythree and Greyhame. That’s Boomer, and what is disturbing is not that his thought is partially cut off, but that he is not sitting with his besties.

We play dominoes -using ones with colored dots – with a man who is color blind. He does pretty good. Mostly has problems with the orange and yellow.

Why not just say the place is all grey?
