Well, it is more interesting than curling, which might well have been named after the hair salon process that offers the same interest level. (Yes, I know that will heap curses upon my insensitive head, but that’s how I see it.)

OK, I’m nitpicking; but all forms of cross-country skiing involve maximum sweating and minimum freezing. He should have chosen any of the many sports that have you shivering on a mountain top between multiple attempts at self-harm.

I continued to use a Mauser bolt action 30-06 even after Lake Placid. Gotta keep up the tradition.
