ISPs already regulate speed by which plan they sell you; pay more for faster “download speed”. They don’t mention that “download speed” is only counted from your nearest internet node, not from the other end of the connection.
It would seem that they are in breach of contract when they charge you a lot for a faster “connection” and then slow the other end.
I find it amazing that so many think companies do more than concentrate on profits. Individuals in companies may do so, but structurally, companies are sociopaths.
IDAHOSER, I guess you didn’t know that the US government paid for the invention of the Internet. You don’t seem to know that regulation is not subsidy.
