If some streaming services don’t count against your data limit, there is obviously more than enough bandwidth, so then, why are there limits?
If the US has one of the most expensive cost and lowest average speed Internet services, under the same constraints as other countries, … is allowing the already poorly managed industry free rein going to make it better for the consumer?
Just another example of abuse of freedom enacted against the better good of all for the profit of the few against the will of the people who voiced bitter disagreement against this bill.
I heard my local computer show guru laud the death of Net Neutrality. He somehow, like most Trump supporters, thinks he will be exempt from the increased fees!
The people who are cutting taxes for the rich by cutting programs for the poor and doing nothing for working class Americans bring you worse internet. Doing for your computer what they want to do to your healthcare. Thanks to the resident who things declaring a new capital will bring peace to the Middle East.
The public can file petitions to deny a broadcaster’s license at the FCC. But the public does not own the airwaves. The spectrum is there, whether it is used or not. Only when it is enhanced by broadcasters filling the airwaves with information and entertainment does it have any value at all to the public.
