Did C-3PO sound more human in the ORIGINAL released version of New Hope? Just curious before I go looking for an old VCR and digging in plastic totes full of bootleg movies on VHS stored in a barn.
I went to see the first Star Wars in ‘77 at the drive-in in a blue V-Dub minivan, sitting on the floor so I could nurse my newborn son. He’s now got two little girls of his own. But, it was only yesterday….
I’m 73. I took my daughter to see “Star Wars” in 1977 when she was 11. She and family are coming for the holidays next Thursday. We will go to see “The Last Jedi” together. She is 51!

I can relate to that.

Sadly, “The Empire Strikes Back” was the last one that was worth watching.

The first movie was made to be a kids movie. That’s why there is sound in space in the movie, it wasn’t rocket science.

The trilogy with the trilogy prequel and trilogy epilogue. It was strange going to see the fourth movie in a series way back in 1977.
