With the Trump tax bill going into effect, that analogy is a little out of date. The gold in Fort Knox is going have to be used to pay off the national debt, since the 1%ers are no longer carrying their share of the weight.
Funny that I’m the one who never folds clothes, but my husband always does – even if I’m just going to hang them up! My rule is hang it up or shove it in a drawer (because then its underwear no-one else will ever see.)
