Whenever I think of poltergeist, I think about a song from The Sound of Music. Poltergeist, Poltergeist, every morning you greet me. Google if you want to sing the rest.Take care and God bless

The state of New York is not conceding the existence of ghosts; they just require that sellers disclose anything that might affect the value of the house, and it was decided that stories that a house is haunted might affect its value.

They should move enough parking spaces out of WV to Washington DC to cover it. Right now it would be a better use of space.

Ichiro Suzuki broke the record George Sisler set in 1920 when he had 257 hits in that season.

It is important to note, however, that in 1920 teams played 154 games in a season. So the average hits per game for Sisler was 1.67. In 2004 teams played 162 games so the average hits per game for Suzuki was 1.62.

Ichiro’s 262 hits were accomplished in a 162-game season, whereas George Sisler accomplished his feat in a 154-game season. Eight more games. Five more hits. (Credit to the late Roger Maris.)

Most of those parking spaces are unused handicapped spots.

When I bought my first house, the night before we went to sign the papers at the notary’s, I had a nightmare that it was haunted! I mentionned it the day after and everyone was laughing EXCEPT the notary. He asked the sellers “is it haunted?” very seriously and added “if we find out that the house is indeed haunted, it would be legally considered like a hidden vice and you could be sued for it”. I couldn’t believe my ears…
