On a side note Creator Brian — Thank you for not using today’s anniversary to promote more of the conspiracy theorist clap-trap we’ve had to deal with for 54 years.

As a historian, I say you should do a graphic novel of US history. I like your interpretation of events.

Thanks to Brian for the attention to the weapons. It looks like Zak and Jeff are using “Walker” Colt pistols. These were the 44 Magnums of their day and not surpassed in power until recent times.

Uh oh, Brian – got a question about that last quote. According to Holman Hamilton, who wrote both “Zachary Taylor: Soldier in the Republic” and “Zachary Taylor: Soldier in the White House”, the quote is given (in the first volume pp. 198-199) as remarked in a letter: “Such an idea never entered my head, nor is it likely to enter the head of any SANE person.” The difference in words would speak volumes toward his personal view of the office of POTUS.

Also – do you think the prints you sell from your website would copy well to paper designed for iron-on transfers? If the idea doesn’t offend you, I’d like to buy some prints and put the designs on Christmas gifts for (ONLY!!) family and friends…and me.
