Just don’t roast your chestnuts in the microwave.

If I didn’t know they were cold I would suggest washing the pop tarts down with a little Scope.®

I’ve had roasted chestnuts. I don’t see the appeal. They’re very bland.

I haven’t had roasted chestnuts but I have had Pop-tarts. I’m sure there is a difference.

Jaws roasting on an open pyre,Sandman picking at his nose,Jedi tales being sung by a choir,And folks dressed up like 3-pos.

Everybody knows black matte lines and that old green fillHelp to make this film look right,Tiny droids, LEDs all aglow, will find it hard to sleep tonight,

They know that Obi-Wan is on his sway,He’s loaded Daddy’s old light saber on his sleigh,And every stormtrooper is gonna spy,To see if Jedi really know how to fly,

And so I’m offering this simple phrase,To Han and Luke and Chewie too,Although it’s been said many times, many ways,

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

We tried to roast chestnuts in an open toaster oven one year. One of them exploded like a gunshot and sent shell fragments to the far reaches of the house. I imagine doing so over an open flame would produce a similar result. You’re probably supposed to crack them slightly first.

I’ve found that adding some butter is very good for the taste.
