Seems like good advice to me.

Bill SSo far this year there have been 14,882 gun deaths and 332 mass shootings. Yes Sir! That protection seems to be working all right.

I think, learning everything you can from smarter people, is the best way to prepare.

How many innocent people have you almost killed for no reason thinking you were “protecting something”. Guns don’t kill people…people kill people. If guns were harder to get fewer innocent people would die for no reason. Right now any psychopath in the US can easily get a gun. Mass killings every day in the USA. In Canada? Almost never. Wonder why? The answer should be obvious.

Kids usually think things will get better when they get older, that they’ll have real control over their lives. Sadly, for most of us, things don’t get much better (the problems are just different). It kind of annoys me when people tell kids that things will get better – you never know how someone else’s life is going to turn out.

Huh, no comments about how helmets don’t save you from injuries to other parts of your body.
