‘Progressives’ in the Golden state are cooking up a plan to release violent felons from prison via an early release program. As long as they are too old (over 60) or too young (under 23) they will qualify. The lefties feel that mature inmates are unlikely to repeat their violent acts and that the young ones “didn’t know any better” at the time of committing their crimes. California is becoming hell on earth.
California sends more money to the Feds than it gets, unlike a lot of red states. We’re tired of having to subsidize their bigotry and hypocrisy and downright ignorance.
One more time: If you want fewer illegals, prosecute the businesses who hire them.
Even if the Mexico-paid-for wall were 100% effective in what it claims to do, it would make only a small dent in illegal immigration, if at all, and only from Mexico.
No one wants to face that, let alone discuss it.
Better, easier, and, especially, simpler to just call for more persecution of illegals.

It has been proven that undocumented immigrants commit LESS crime than actual citizens. But, ignorant, unsubstantiated beliefs are hard to shake.
