I think.. that is a miss quote. The trump loves himself, demands praise wherever he goes, puts himself and family first.. and no one is proud to serve him.
One of the things that annoys me about this whole deal is the lack of recognition that all these people paid by the government (elected, appointed or whatever) are there to serve the citizens of the USA, NOT the president. That’s the whole point of public service.
You must understand that, to a Narcissist, serving the Narcissist is serving the world, since he is obviously the center of all existence! Donald John Trump is completely incapable of distinguishing ANY difference between himself and the office of the Presidency or of the United States, for that matter! In his mind, he IS the Presidency; he IS the country! There is no line, amorphic or not, between himself and the office or the state since, to him, they are one and the same – a pledge to serve him is a pledge to serve the country and vice versa! He totally ‘understands’ the relationship between himself and all others and he gets understandably upset when others fail to grasp the same! To put it in it’s simplest terms, “What part of CRAZY, don’t you understand?”
Thanks Mr. Sherman. Of course trump is mentally ill with ADD. Remember there’s no cunning, no plan, no strategy, no insight, no thought, no volition, and no moderation. He’s a very sick puppy. The sooner the country gets this the better it will be.
The most accurate metaphor would seem to be cancer. Sometimes you have to cut the tumor out before it fully metastasizes because it is malignant. The latest scientific evidence shows a symbiosis between a host and its cancer. It’s a complicated paired dance, not a solo performance. So this particular illness has found the weakest part of the body politic and exploited its weakness. The indicia of susceptibility is often inflammation. Does this description sound like it fits the observable? Are we tired of winning?
