I would think you had done more research. Since you are a media representative you would have done your research and realized that these NFL players are not dissing the flag or the anthem. They are humbly protesting Racial inequality. They are not being arrogant. They are not yelling and screaming. They are not waving flags and banners and throwing stones and firebombs. They are not doing any of those things. They are simply humbly bending the knee and bowing their heads and praying for justice. You should be ashamed of yourself.
The flag is just a symbol, in this case of a country where Americans have fought and died to preserve our right to protest. You cannot do this in Russia or China and many other countries that are not true republics. The loyalty should be to the principle that the flag is just a symbol of. The current anthem was not a good choice then or now.
NFL and MLB players are protesting because Blacks are being shot at a rate that’s 2.5 times higher than whites.
The big question is whether that is evidence that the police are discriminating against African Americans. There’s an obvious argument that it is: African Americans are just 13% of the US population, and yet 26% of the people killed by the police.
Mr. Payne, you have been repeatedly told what the protests are really about.
So at this point, you are either a Useful Idiot, an Agent, or a Traitor for Russia.
