This strip is set in Michigan, right? Take pictures of those fall colors, kid, because someday you’ll have the opportunity to tell your grandchildren about them as they bask in the shade of the always-verdant palm trees.
Well, the fall colors were projected to arrive a couple of weeks early around here this year, but then we had a warm, dry September and the new threat is that we’re in for a lousy color show, that the leaves could very well just fall off without changing colors much at all.
And man, do I ever feel privileged that a relatively bland fall foliage display is the most I can complain about the weather.
