It’s the ol’ Time Shuffle.

So this is how we get to read BC in September 2107.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually — from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint — it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly… timey-wimey… stuff.

Looks like a game controller. Ah, it is a game controller! ☺

Maybe it is a comic strip panel shuffler.

Oh, shucks, any watch or clock can do the same thing! Don’t you ever feel like an hour has passed, and the watch says it’s only been three minutes? Or think you have plenty of time before something needs to be done and the next thing you know, you’re late, veryvery late? Just looking at a clock can throw your personal space/time continuum totally out of whack.
