Not only is her driving dangerous, but she leaves pets in the car while she shops too. It’s like she’s trying to test on how much she can getaway with. Joe is probably the reason why she hasn’t been arrested and her license revoked.

I do what the K9 officers do, I leave my dog in the car with the engine and AC running. I carry an extra set of keys so I can lock the car while I am gone. Though with a large German shepherd that barks and growls at strangers, I don’t think anyone will risk trying to steal the car.

I used to have a pit-boxer cross. I only left her if the weather was coolish (not cold) but, man! could she bark! Nobody came within five feet of that dog. And all she was saying was, “Come here and pet me”.

It is a lot worse when some nut leaves their child alone in a hot car.

Poor Mortimer… His heroic deeds always seem to go unnoticed.

I did almost call the police because it was very hot and the window was not even cracked. Fortunately, the owner saw me and called over that she was just getting a shopping cart. No way I would break the window for a locked-in animal. I would wait for the authorities. For a locked-in person I might if it looked like the Fire Department would not get there in time.
