I need to buy this book if only to push the sales up over AotD. I wonder if she admits that the main reason she lost was because she was probably the most hated woman in America at the time. Trump’s a low-life and we can look down on him, but she comes across as an “above the average people” elitist who expects to be looked up to.

Danflak – The key reason she was so hated was the right knew she was a contender that they had to bring down. The never ending assault on Hillary was more the right wing media and politicians than a reaction to her own actions. Nothing fair about it, but, sadly, that’s life.

@waitr…very perceptive of you to pick this up. But trump looked that way because his mental illness is worsened by his ADD. It is his mental illness that drives him this way and that, but the ADD makes him even more compulsive. It looks juvenile, because the mental illness produces juvenile-like symptoms.

The worst of it is, there is no WAY any one person can undo a Constitutional amendment. Trump’s supporters were too stupid to understand this.

And, frankly, DANFLAK, we need somebody whom we can admire. Somebody who is smarter than the average bear. Another John Kennedy would be nice.

The last thing we need is an elitist like Clinton. I stay away from elitists. If I need a plumber, I never hire an elite plumber; I go with a poor-to-average plumber. Or better still, an electrician.

I think that because we recently had someone who was educated, smart, intelligent, dignified and made being president look easy; we assume that educated, smart, intelligent, dignified, capable young candidates are a dime a dozen ready to run for the office of president. Perhaps there are not very many of them and we’re going to be disappointed more times than not.

What happened was Hillary and the DNC alienated the progressives and then she said she didn’t feel the need to reconcile with them because she already had enough supporters to win. She then ran a failed campaign with little message beyond “Trump and his supporters are deplorable!” and ignored entire states. She lost the Electoral College votes of pretty much every state she ignored, and lost the election. After that, Hillary and her supporters pointed their fingers at the progressive voters she said she didn’t need to win, on Sanders because he apparently didn’t campaign for Hillary hard enough (maybe they were expecting him to campaign in the states she completely ignored), and then tried to blame the Russians for allegedly hacking into the DNC’s email server despite the fact they reused to grant the FBI access to said server in order to obtain evidence to validate their claims.

And there it is. The condensed version of what happened. It’s pretty simple when you cut out the BS.
