I went to a restaurant like this once., except they tried to deny that they had no food. They took orders, made people wait for a while then came back to tell them that they were out of whatever it was the customer had ordered. It turned out they hadn’t been paying their suppliers and had no food on hand. Why they didn’t put up a CLOSED sign is something I still haven’t figured out.
